Sandra McLellan TD

Sandra McLellan is the Sinn Féin TD for the Cork East constituency.

Speaking after her selection as a Sinn Féin candidate in the 2011 General Election Sandra said: "As a married mother of three children, I am acutely aware of the pressures on families in Ireland today. I have a mortgage, a daughter in university and my husband has been made redundant. I believe that job creation is the biggest issue facing East Cork."

Sandra was first elected to Youghal Town Council in 2004 and topped the poll on her re-election in 2009.

She says she was privileged to be the first Sinn Féin Mayor of Youghal in 2009.

In 2009 Sandra was elected to Cork County Council.
