East Antrim - OLIVER McMULLAN
Oliver McMullan is a hard working constituency representative who has put a strong focus on opportunities for job creation and social enterprise. He has promoted our local tourism industry as well as campaigned for environmental protection.
Elected to Moyle Council in 1993, his tireless work on behalf of the electorate has become legendary and, in recent years has extended beyond the Glens into East Antrim, in response to neighbouring citizens whose own elected representatives failed to perform.
Amongst his many political achievements, Oliver has been Sinn Féin’s first Chairperson of Moyle Council as well as local District Policing Partnership. He represents council on external bodies including the Strategic Waste Board, Northern Education & Library Board and Joint Committee of the Rural Development Programme.
Oliver has championed the rights of children with disability and been a strong voice for local farmers.
