Newry Armagh - MICKEY BRADY

Ballybot born, Mickey Brady is the quintessential Newry man. As the first project manager and worker for the Newry Welfare rights centre Mickey is a fighter in the corner of the socially excluded and powerless, and a formidable opponent of injustice.

First elected in 2007, Mickey has been a key part of the Sinn Féin team within the Assembly. Mickey is a member of the Health, Social Development and Standards and Privileges committees.

Mickey’s dedication to the people of Newry and Armagh is demonstrated by the popular clinics he holds throughout the constituency and by the numbers of constituents he meets in the Sinn Féin office on Patrick Street.
