Foyle - RAYMOND McCARTNEY

Raymond is married to Rose and they have a son, Conchúr.

In the Assembly Raymond is Deputy Chairperson of the Justice Committee.

He has a keen interest in sport, being a strong supporter for the regeneration of the Brandywell Stadium.

He is also a keen Irish language enthusiast being a strong advocate of the Irish medium education sector.

Raymond is the Chairperson of Coiste na n-Iar Chimí, the umbrella group for organisations who work with political ex-prisoners and their families.
