Mid-Ulster - IAN MILNE

Ian Milne from Bellaghy in South Derry is the Project Coordinator for Iar Chími Dhoire Theas, a local ex prisoner group.

A former prisoner Ian was instrumental to the creation of Gulladuff Centre which has become an invaluable resource to the whole community.

A lifelong Gael, Ian has given many years service to his local GAA club, both as a player and manager.  He has worked with local Community and Development groups helping to secure funding and bringing people together.

Since his election in 2005, Ian has campaigned for people on planning and housing issues, welfare rights, access to services and wide range of social issues.
