Following vicious burglary Sinn Féin Councillor demands action over prolific offenders

10 September, 2012

Sinn Féin Councillor Steven Corr said that the community was very angry after the vicious burglary in the Ballymurphy area in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The West Belfast Councillor:

“The community is disgusted with this latest incident and are demanding that the PSNI deal with prolific offenders who appear to be able to prey on this community at will.

“The victim in this instance is a Sinn Féin activist and former prisoner who is a stalwart of the community. She is also suffering from a serious illness and for this trauma to be inflicted upon her is a disgrace.

“This community is demanding that the PSNI deal with these anti-community individuals and that the courts do likewise.”
