An Phoblacht Video News visits the Ploughing Championships 2012

An Phoblacht video news visited the National Ploughing Championships in County Wexford this week.  The main topics of discussion amongst those attending was the EUs Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) and the poor weather.  We hear from IFA President John Bryan, ICSA representative Eddie Punch and from Teagasc, Larry O'Loughlin.  We hear too from Six County Minister for Agriculture, Michelle O'Neill who was joined by Deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness and Ireland's newest MEP, Martina Anderson as well as Sinn Féin spokesperson on Agriculture and Rural Development, Martin Ferris TD.  Finally we get to speak to TV Chef Nevin Maguire, owner of the highly rated MacNean House and Restaurant who tells us why we should source our food locally.
