Kelly condemns North Belfast murder

Sinn Fein MLA for North Belfast has added his voice to the condemnation of the shooting dead of 36 year old, Danny McKay, in the Longlands area of the city.

Speaking today Mr Kelly said:

"The shooting dead of local man, Danny McKay, in Longlands last night is to be condemned outright. There is no place in our society for this type of action

"I wish to send my sympathies to his family and friends of .

"Whoever is responsible must realise the shock and hurt they have caused the family and this community. The message is very clear. This community does not want this happening in their name. There is no justification.

"I would appeal to anyone with any information on this mans killing to bring it forward to the PSNI.”
