Priority must be to get on with developing children's hospital - Ó Caoláin

30 October, 2012 - by Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin TD

Commenting on the leaked Dolphin Report and media reports that it favours the St James's Hospital site for the National Children's Hospital, Sinn Féin Health & Children spokesperson Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin TD said:

"The priority now must be to get as quickly as possible to the planning and development stage of the long overdue National Children's Hospital. No location is perfect and there are arguments for and against every site. The Government needs to move this project forward. And in the meantime it is absolutely essential that full and continuing support is given to the existing and very hard-pressed children's hospitals."
