Kelly condemns attempted bombing

13 November, 2012 - by Gerry Kelly

Sinn Féin MLA Gerry Kelly said the planting of a booby trap bomb under a car in Belfast will achieve nothing and will not halt the peace process.

The North Belfast MLA said:

“These actions will achieve nothing except potentially heap misery and hurt on the community and yet another family.

“No grouping or small amount of people are going to drag us back to war.

“The people of Ireland voted for the peace process and Sinn Féin have been driving forward with change and that will continue.”
