Short Strand Visit by Gerry Adams

Sinn Féin President Gerry Adams TD accompanied by senior party figures including Caral Ní Chuilin and Gerry Kelly visit the beleaguered Nationalist Short Strand area of East Belfast to show solidarity with the community following yet another sustained attack on their area by unionist mobs.

During the visit the Sinn Féin delegation met with local Sinn Fein elected representatives Alex Maskey MLA and Councillors Niall Ó Donnghaile and Deirdre Hargey as well as local community leaders and many of the residents who were victims of the unionist mobs violence, insults and intimidation.
