Gun attack a futile attempt to take us backwards

24 December, 2013 - by Sean Lynch

Sinn Féin MLA Sean Lynch said that those behind shots fired at Lisnaskea PSNI station had nothing to offer the people of the area or Ireland.

The Fermanagh MLA who is from Lisnaskea said:

"This attack has and will achieve nothing. Thankfully no one was hurt. The people behind this incident have nothing to offer the people of Fermanagh or the people of Ireland.

"These people should come out and explain what they think this attack has achieved.

“They are opponents of change, change which will continue to happen regardless of their actions. Those wedded to violence for the sake of it will not stop the people of the North and all of Ireland from moving forward to a more equal society."
