“In total over 18m will be spent across 119 projects that will improve the teaching surrounding for pupils and staff alike.

“Not only will the minor works scheme enhance the school estate but it will provide work to the under pressure building sector right across the North.

“This is the latest investment highlighting Sinn Fein’s commitment in putting money into the school estate and coming on the back of the £134m School enhance Programme announced in March.

“Sinn Fein is determined to ensure that every child has a modern and warm environment in which they can learn and the Minister’s strategy of improving the school estate is delivering just that.”
