Petrol bomb attack on home fortunate not to have caused fatalities

1 June, 2014

Sinn Féin Councillor Elisha McCallion has said that she is relieved that no one was injured in a petrol bomb attack on a house in Fergleen Mews overnight.

 Councillor McCallion stated,

“I am relieved that no one was injured in this attack on a house on Fergleen Mews last night.

“The house contained two adults and two children and anyone who uses petrol to attack a home in the middle of the night when families are in bed need to realise there is a possibility of fatalities.

“The people who carried out this attack need to understand that the entire community is sickened by it and will offer their support and help to the family involved.

“I would appeal to anyone who has information on this attack to bring it forward to the PSNI immediately.”
