Hunger Strike Rally 2014
1981 Hunger Striker and Sinn Féin MLA Pat Sheehan calls for a mass mobilisation for this year's National Hunger Strike Rally on the 3rd August in Derrylin, Co. Fermanagh. The West Belfast MLA who himself came close to death after spending 55 days on the 1981 Hunger Strike said this years rally is particularly special given the role the people of Fermanagh / South Tyrone played in the historic election of Bobby Sands as MP for the area.
