Adams condemns attack on Drogheda house

16 August, 2014 - by Gerry Adams TD

Sinn Féin President and Louth TD Gerry Adams has condemned an attack on a house in Drogheda last night in which a woman has been seriously injured.

Speaking today he said;

“I am appealing to anyone with any information relating to this outrageous attack to bring it to the attention of Gardaí.

“This was a shameful attack by people who have no consideration for the safety of decent law abiding citizens.

“My thoughts are with the woman who has been brought to hospital and to her rescuer who also sustained injuries.  I wish them both speedy recoveries.”
