Sinn Féin's Councillor Daithí Doolan has urged the public to come out and support tomorrow's rally in support of the Greyhound workers.
Speaking today Doolan said:
"Workers at Greyhound have been locked out of work by their employer since June 17th. This is an attempt by management to force a 35% cut in wages. The workers have received massive support from the public and from across political parties.
"Since June Greyhound has hired in untrained and inexperienced agency workers to break the strike. This unacceptable. This has clear parallels with the 1913 Lock Out and will be opposed today as it was back then. We must stand up to the Buckley Brothers bully boy tactics.
"Tomorrow's rally is an opportunity for the public to come and show their support for these workers."
The rally will take place tomorrow Monday August 25th 9am Greyhound depot, Crag Avenue, Clondalkin Industrial Estate.
