Car criminals’ rampage could have claimed lives – McCann

7 July, 2017 - by Fra McCann

Sinn Féin MLA Fra McCann has said those who stole and crashed a car in the Falls area today have no regard for the lives or safety of local people.

Fra McCann said:

“A group of people entered a house in Barrack Street and stole the keys of the family car.

“They have been on a rampage terrorising this community all day. They hit vehicles, including a bus and cars at the junctions of the Whiterock and Donegall Roads.

“The car eventually crashed into premises at Dunville Street.

“The actions of these death drivers are dangerous and reckless in the extreme and they have no regard for the lives or safety of local people.

“I would appeal for any one who has any information about this incident to pass it onto the PSNI and urge them to act to take these criminals off the streets.”
