McGuigan welcomes driving disqualification move
Sinn Féin MLA Philip McGuigan has said recognising driving disqualifications across the island of Ireland will ensure greater road safety for all users.
The party’s infrastructure spokesperson said:
“Any move which improves road safety on the island of Ireland is to be welcomed.
“The mutual recognition of driving disqualifications will prove an important road safety measure as it aims to target dangerous drivers on our roads.
“This move will help to reduce road injuries and ultimately save lives.”
