Archibald wishes students good luck for coming year

21 September, 2017 - by Caoimhe Archibald

Sinn Féin MLA Caoimhe Archibald has wished new students arriving at universities in the north this week every success with their chosen courses.

The Party's Further and Higher Education Spokesperson said:

"Hundreds of new students are arriving at college this week and hundreds more returning. This is an exciting time for those students and we wish them the very best of luck in their studies in the year ahead.

"Students should be encouraged to take advantage of all the opportunities available to them throughout university life, both on-campus and off-campus activities.

"We would obviously also appeal to all students to be good neighbours, the vast majority of course are but students should be encouraged to engage in a positive way with local communities.

"Any student experiencing difficulties with their studies or any other aspect of life should make contact with the students unions for support."
