Flynn condemns device left in Poleglass

1 November, 2017 - by Órlaithí Flynn

Sinn Féin MLA Órlaithí Flynn has slammed those responsible for leaving an explosive device in Poleglass and has called on them to get off the backs of the local community.

The West Belfast MLA was speaking after a viable explosive device was found on Pantridge Road.

Órlaithí Flynn said:

"I condemn those responsible, they have caused three days of disruption and shown no regard whatsoever for the local community.

“The people are sick, sore and tired of being placed in danger by groups at war with the local community.

“There is no support for these actions locally and those responsible need to get off the backs of this community.

"I would appeal to anyone with information to contact the police.”
