Belfast to host Sinn Féin Annual Slógadh - Ó Donnghaile

Seanadóir Niall Ó Donnghaile has welcomed the announcement that Sinn Féin’s annual Slógadh is to be held in The Duncairn Centre, Belfast on Saturday 2 December from 10am to 4pm.

Sinn Féin President Gerry Adams will deliver the keynote address to the event under the theme ‘Saol trí Ghaeilge: Life through Irish’.

Speaking prior to the event Niall Ó Donnghaile said:

“Gerry Adams TD will deliver the keynote address, with other guest speakers being announced this week.

“There will be general discussions around matters relating to the Irish Language and what it means to live your life through Irish.

“This is a bi-lingual event and all are welcome to attend.

“We look forward to an interesting and vibrant event, and would encourage anyone with an interest in the Irish language to come along and participate in this event.”
