Register to vote before November 25th deadline – Adams

8 November, 2017 - by Gerry Adams TD

Sinn Féin President Gerry Adams TD has urged people in Louth to check the register of electors and to claim their vote before the November 25th deadline.

Teachta Adams said;

“The deadline to register to vote for next year is coming up fast on 25th November.

“In 2018, we will be making important decisions. There will be a vote on the repeal of the Eighth Amendment and there could be a General Election at any time.

“If you want this state to be a place where citizens have real genuine authority, control and empowerment, you must claim your vote and you must use it.

“I would urge everyone to check to see if they are registered to vote at www.checktheregister.ie, or to check the register at their local Council office, Post Office, Garda station or library.

“People may also contact my office and I will be happy to assist with any queries and getting the required forms.”
