Better ambulance cover needed for rural areas - Brady

1 December, 2017 - by Mickey Brady

Mickey Brady MP has called for improved ambulance cover for rural areas following a meeting with Director of Operations of Ambulance Services.

The Newry Armagh MP said

"Following a gas explosion incident in Barcroft, I've been raising residents' concerns of response times and ambulance availability in Newry Armagh.

"No where is this shortage felt more acutely than in our rural communities.

"In this constructive meeting I pressed for the need for a more responsive ambulance service, and for more reliable and dedicated cover throughout Newry & Armagh."
