Maskey welcomes jobs announcement

27 February, 2018 - by Paul Maskey

Sinn Féin MP Paul Maskey has welcomed the announcement that 60 new IT jobs are to be created in Belfast.

“The announcement that Ammeon, which is headquartered in Dublin, is to open a new centre in Belfast is very much welcome,” Paul Maskey said.

“The company is making a significant investment and creating 60 well-paid posts with an average salary of over £50,000, generating an additional £3.5 million to the local economy.

“That is a tremendous boost and also a significant vote of confidence in the local workforce given that Ammeon singled out the high standard of software engineering talent here as one of the main attractions for them.”
