Goodman slams sectarian graffiti

15 September, 2018 - by Michael Goodman

Sinn Féin Councillor Micheal Goodman has slammed those responsible for sectarian graffiti at a Clanmill housing development on the Carnmoney Road in Glengormley.

Cllr Goodman said:

“This offensive and sectarian graffiti is utterly unacceptable in any society and must be removed at once.

“Those that have defaced the development with graffiti in no way represent this community.

“I am calling on unionist representatives to unreservedly condemn this attempt to intimidate people and mark out territory.

“Unfortunately incidents such as this only serve to further division and feed sectarianism at a time when the community wants to move forward.”
