As Sinn Féin’s leader of that team Cathal is an outspoken advocate of accountable policing and stands resolute and uncompromising in holding the PSNI to account across East Derry.

In East Derry Cathal will work:

• To promote job creation and economic investment across East Derry

• To oppose cut in health care provision

• To develop the full potential of the tourism industry from the Giants Causeway to Magilligan Point

• To eliminate sectarianism particularly within the town of Coleraine

• To eradicate the scourge of drugs on our community
