26 March, 2012 - by Westminster

Sinn Féin Economy Spokesperson Conor Murphy MP, MLA has said that it is imperative that the Assembly approves any future proposals affecting the Superannuation Bill now before the Assembly.

Conor` Murphy said:

“Notwithstanding the passage of the Superannuation Bill through the Assembly Sinn Féin will not accept any notion that future proposals by the Finance Minister affecting the Bill should proceed without the approval of the Assembly.

“Sinn Féin will make its opposition known at the appropriate time if there is any deviation from democratic control of legislation affecting any section of society.”
