Kerry Spring closure a blow to local community - Martin Ferris TD
Sinn Féin’s Martin Ferris TD has said the closure today of the Kerry Spring company in Ballyferriter, Dingle is a blow to the local community.
The Kerry TD said;
“I am very sad for those who will lose their jobs as a result of today’s closure. It is a blow to those families and to the local community.
“Thirty people will be made redundant. Eighteen of these workers are from Ballyferriter alone, so it will doubtlessly impact on the local economy of the town.
“It is now extremely important that everything possible is done to protect the welfare of those workers who have lost their jobs.”
