Minister Harris needs to concentrate on resolving the trolley crisis he presided over and stop trying to contradict INMO figures - Louise O'Reilly TD
Sinn Féin health spokesperson Louise O’Reilly TD has said that the Minister for Health Simon Harris' attempt to deflect from the gravity of the situation in our hospitals by challenging the INMO figures is 'nothing short of pathetic.'
This comes after the INMO announcement of a staggering 677 patients admitted by doctors overnight for whom there was no bed.
Deputy Reilly said;
"Minister Harris should be spending his time trying to fix this crisis he and his government have created instead of trying to argue with those representing workers on the frontline of our health services.
"The revelation of 677 on trolleys, while shocking, was entirely predictable. The attempts by the Minister to distract from this are shameful."
