It will contain an interactive timeline and many of the key documents detailing the evolution of Sinn Féin's peace strategy, from publishing of A Scenario for Peace and the report of the Sinn Féin/SDLP talks in 1988 to the discussions leading up to the Good Friday Agreement in 1998 and the agreements which followed at Hillsborough, St. Andrews and Weston Park and the establishment of the power sharing institutions. Work is ongoing in relation to the delivery of commitments in these agreements.

On May 22 1998, more than two million people across Ireland voted for the Good Friday Agreement, an international Agreement which was the collective product of inclusive negotiations and a compromise between political opponents. While the Agreement itself does not resolve the causes of conflict, it does, if implemented, set out a political and institutional framework within which many of the causes of conflict can be addressed.
