Community anger at West Belfast attack on pensioners
Sinn Féin West Belfast MLA Paul Maskey has said that local community is outraged after two women pensioners were robbed in their home in West Belfast.
He also called on neighbours and the local community to keep an eye out for older people living in their community and urged anyone with any information about the robbery and attacks to come forward.
Mr Maskey said:
"The local community is shocked and angered at this robbery and both women have been left badly shaken.
"I want to encourage neighbours and community activists to come out, as they have done in the past, to support these women and also to keep an eye out for all of the older people living in our communities.
"Anyone with any information about these heartless thieves should not hesitate in bringing it forward." ENDS
