Serious Quad bike accident in Armagh
Sinn Féin Deputy Mayor of Armagh, Councillor Noel Sheridan has said that there is a deep sense of shock at the news of an incident involving a Quad bike in which a young boy has been seriously injured.
Cllr Sheridan said:
"We are all deeply shocked to learn of this accident and I hope that the young boy injured will recover. He and his family are in our thoughts and prayers.
"While the details of the incident on the Ballygasson Road were still unclear, on the broader issue of Quads, a number of young people have been killed on these machines over the years.
"I would appeal to all who use them to be careful. This is the start of summer and school breaks for most of our young people. The news that another young person is lying seriously injured as a result of an accident is a sharp reminder to us all to take care." ENDS
