Belfast Mayor to unveil mural in support of Ballymurphy Massacre Victims

Belfast Mayor Cllr Tom Hartley will unveil a mural at 12pm, Saturday 9 August, to highlight the campaign by the Ballymurphy massacre families.

Cllr Hartley said,

"The campaign by the families goes on and this mural will play some part in publicising their long campaign. I commend them on their efforts and am proud to be asked to unveil the mural tomorrow."

The unveiling will take place at the old bus terminus at the junction of the Whiterock and Springfield Roads.

The families of the Ballymurphy massacre victims will be in attendance along with the Sinn Fein President and west Belfast MP Gerry Adams.
