Sinn Féin backs calls for Dublin South by-election date
South Dublin Sinn Féin representative Shaun Tracey has echoed calls from Labour Party Leader Eamon Gilmore for the Government to announce a date for the by-election in Dublin South following the death of Séamus Brennan in July.
Speaking today Mr. Tracey said, "There should be no stalling on the by-election for Dublin South. The people of this constituency are entitled to fair representation and should be facilitated with a by-election at the earliest opportunity.
"The Government's current hardships must not be allowed to act as an obstacle to the by-election." ENDS
