Molloy urges local organisations to apply for Suicide Prevention small grants scheme

Sinn Féin Mid Ulster MLA Francie Molloy has urged organisations within the Cookstown Council Area to apply for the Small Grants Scheme.

Cookstown & Western Shores Area Network have announced the opening of the suicide prevention small grants scheme. This initiative has been funded through the Northern Health & Social Services Board. Funding is now available for projects which can help to promote positive mental health especially focusing on Suicide Prevention, Intervention and Post-vention initiatives.

Mr Molloy said:

"I would urge all organizations; community, voluntary, church, and sporting organisations within the Cookstown Council area to apply for this small grants scheme that is available to help promote positive mental health and particularly suicide prevention initiatives.
