Strabane ÓSF to host public talk on Israeli massacre in Gaza
As Israeli bombs continue to fall in Gaza and worldwide anger continues to grow Ógra Shinn Féin in Strabane has organised a public talk on the Middle East conflict in the town library's civic room on Thursday 15th January at 7:30pm.
The talk will be given by Michael Duncan, who has lived in the region for ten years, and who has witnessed first hand the brutality of the Israeli state against the Palestinian people.
Urging people to support and attend this event, Malachy Quigg of the Tobias Molloy Ógra Shinn Féin Cumann said:
"This will prove to be a very interesting and informative discussion, and we would urge anyone who feels strongly about the horrific situation faced by Palestinians to come along.
"Following the public talk there will be a candlelit vigil outside Strabane Library in solidarity with the victims of this latest wave of Israeli terror." ENDS
