Begley welcomes launch of PEACE III‏

Sinn Féin Omagh Councillor Sean Begley has welcomed the launch of the PEACE III small grants Programme. Under PEACE III, a total of 50 million euro is being made available to local communities in the North of Ireland.

Cllr Begley said:

"PEACE III has provided an exciting opportunity for local Councils, statutory agencies and social partners from the community, voluntary, business, trade union and agriculture/rural development sectors to work together in partnership."

"If you are interested in applying and require further information, application packs and further details are available from the Sinn Féin office on James Street, Omagh. The closing date for applications is 12 noon on Friday 27th February 2009".

"I strongly encourage interested individuals and groups to attend the information sessions organised by the Development Department of Omagh District Council." ENDS

Session 1 - commencing at 2.00 pm in the Training Room, Omagh District Council.
Session 2 - commencing at 7.00 pm in the Training Room, Omagh District Council.
