Sinn Féin elected representatives from across Ireland to meet in Navan
Sinn Féin elected representatives from across Ireland will meet in the Newgrange Hotel in Navan, tomorrow, Saturday 14th February. Party Chairperson Mitchel McLaughlin will address the conference at 4pm on the current political situation and the upcoming Local Government and European elections. Speaking in advance of the conference, Head of the party's National Elected Representatives Forum, Councillor Joe Reilly said:
"The is the inaugural meeting of the National Elected Representatives Forum and will bring together Sinn Féin Councillors from across Ireland and the party's TDs and newly elected MLAs. The meeting will discuss Sinn Féin's all-Ireland political programme and the party's campaign for the upcoming Local Government and European elections.
"Central to our political programme in the coming months will be the campaign to end the suspension of the political institutions in the Six Counties and to get the Agreement back on track, opposition to the right wing agenda being pursued by the Irish government and an end to the drive towards an EU superstate and the militarisation of the European Union."
