Sick and tired of the government? Give them a good balloting on June 5th

28 May, 2009

Dublin South by-election candidate Shaun Tracey was this afternoon joined by Sinn Féin local election candidates and Ógra Shinn Féin to launch the party’s – Sick and tired of the government? Give them a good balloting on June 5th – poster and leaflet campaign.

Speaking at the event at Leinster House where the candidates unveiled a large visual of the campaign the Dublin South by-election candidate said:

“Our message to voters today is this. If you are one of the overwhelming majority that think the government is failing the economy and the people then you have a responsibility to get out on June 5th and tell them what you think.

“Fianna Fáil and the Green’s didn’t get into government by chance. They got there by people voting for them, and they can be removed if people get out and vote against them on June 5th. These elections will be a verdict on the government and can be a defining moment in Irish politics.

“The anger felt by people can be channelled into something positive. Irish politics needs a new beginning. June 5th is the day the people have the opportunity to begin fixing the wrongs inflicted on them by this government. June 5th is the day they can say we have had enough of cronyism and corruption. June 5th is the day they can Vote Sinn Féin.
