Last chance’s to have your voices heard of planning reform
Sinn Féin MLA for Newry/Armagh and his party’s spokesperson on planning, Cathal Boylan has called for public participation in the consultation of planning reform following a statement by the DOE Minister on Planning Reform.
Mr Boylan speaking today after a question to the DOE Minister in the Assembly,
urge everyone, including Public Representatives, local bodies and the wider
public to participate in the consultation on Planning Reform where they will
have an opportunity to shape a new planning system which will best suit the
people of the North, issues such as third party appeals, local development
plans and community involvement are all part of the Reform process.
“The new planning system will be a key function for local Councils and will enable planning to be at the heart of the new councils.
“It is essential that local representatives make their voices heard at Market Place Theatre, Armagh on Monday 21 September 2009 at 10.30am.”
