Ms Ramsey was speaking ahead of a meeting between the organisation and the North’s Justice Minister David Ford.
Speaking today Sue said;
“Following the announcement from the PSNI in May that the Auto Crime Team would be disbanded Sinn Féin, the families and the wider west Belfast community worked to ensure that this vital resource was retained in order to challenge the real and dangerous problem of death-driving within our areas.
It is vital that the Auto Crime Team is retained permanently and we offer our continued support to the Families Bereaved Through Car Crime and will continue to work with them and other agencies to retain this vital unit.” CRÍOCH
