Sinn Fein Minister Conor Murphy opens £23 million water facility for Antrim

Minister for Regional Development Conor Murphy MP, MLA today officially opened a new state-of-the-art £23 million Waste Water Treatment Works in Antrim.
The major upgrade of this facility is designed to cater for a population of 87,000 people ensuring they are provided with top quality provision in Antrim and the surrounding areas of Crumlin, Randalstown and Templepatrick. 
Speaking at the opening, Conor Murphy said, "This project represents a major investment for Antrim and the surrounding area.  It will bring huge benefits to the local economy, environment and growing community here also."
"To deliver such a project on time and on budget was a significant achievement by all the team involved and I want to thank them all for their efforts in delivering this facility which I am delighted to be opening today."
