Sinn Féin forces Government to face up to constitutional obligations
Sinn Féin President Gerry Adams is in Ardee this evening speaking at a public meeting. Commenting on the decision by the Government to put the EU/IMF dig-out to a vote Mr Adams said;
“The government’s decision to put the EU/IMF dig-out to a vote in the Dáil is a direct result of legal action initiated by Sinn Féin Dáil Leader Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin.
The Fianna Fáil / Green coalition had no intention of facing up to its constitutional obligations.
Sinn Féin will be voting against this deal.
We call on all TD’s concerned about sovereignty and the rights of Irish citizens to vote against this deal.” CRÍOCH
