Adams expresses condolences to the families of air crash victims

Speaking before the launch of the Sinn Féin party’s General Election Manifesto, Sinn Féin President Gerry Adams expressed condolences to the families of those who lost their lives, and those injured in the air crash in Cork this morning.

Gerry Adams said:

“My first thoughts and prayers are with the families of those who lost their lives in what was a truly shocking tragedy this morning.

“My thoughts are also with those who were injured and I want to wish them a speedy recovery.

“I want to praise the emergency services who had to cope with this morning’s awful events.

“As a mark of respect, Sinn Féin General Election Candidates and activists in cork city will be cancelling their afternoon canvasses.” ENDS
