Sinn Féin leadership to engage at annual ‘Town Hall’ meetings

29 March, 2011 - by Alex Maskey

Sinn Féin’s Alex Maskey has today announced a series of ‘Town Hall’ meetings due to take place in a number of areas across the Six Counties over the next few weeks.
Speaking in Belfast today the south Belfast election candidate said;
“Sinn Féin is the only party that regularly engages with the community in this fashion; we hold a series of Town Hall type meetings annually to give citizens out there an opportunity to engage directly with the party leadership.
These latest meetings come at an appropriate time as we have just completed the first full term of stable and effective government.
It is our firm view that we want to go out and listen to the views and opinions of our people as we face into an election and a new Assembly term.”
