Colreavy congratulates Tullamore Show organisers
Sinn Féin Deputy for Sligo/North Leitrim today extended his congratulations to the organisers of the 20th annual Tullamore Show.
Speaking after attending the event at Butterfield estate on Sunday Deputy Colreavy commended organisers on a fantastic event.
“I would like to congratulate the organisers of the Tullamore show on the twentieth Annual event which was a resounding success, a great day for Irish agriculture and wonderful day out for young and old.
“It is encouraging to see so many exhibits and so many people attend this event. The future of Agriculture in Ireland is bright, provided the government nurture it and make the right choices.
“I was delighted to be able to meet and speak with so many people and was particularly pleased to see a strong Sinn Féin membership in attendance. I was also particularly pleased to be joined by Minister Michelle O'Neill, Minister for Agriculture and Rural Development in the Stormont Executive.
“It is important to look at Agriculture on an all Ireland basis and to put cross border links in place to ensure that the best is done for all farmers across our island.
“Sinn Féin will continue to actively promote the development of rural communities and seek to ensure that this most valuable of industries will continue to thrive and prosper.” ENDS
