Sinn Féin meeting with PSNI to focus on car-jacking and anti-community activity
A Sinn Féin delegation of MLA’s Paul Maskey and Fra McCann along with Councillor Jim McVeigh will be meeting PSNI North & West Belfast District Commander Mark Hamilton today with the issue of car-jacking and anti-community activity top of the agenda.
Prior to the meeting Paul Maskey said:
“A wide range of issues that our constituents have brought to our attention will be raised.
“We will be asking the PSNI what they are doing to address specifically the issues of car-jacking and anti-community activity.
“More resources need to be employed to deal with these issues and that’s what we will be calling for. We will also be seeking answers on what the PSNI are doing to deal with prolific offenders.
“People deserve and demand an effective and accountable policing service and Sinn Féin are determined that they will receive one.”
