Minister meets Equine Students at CAFRE’s Enniskillen Campus
Agriculture Minister Michelle O’Neill has met students at the College of Food, Agriculture and Rural Enterprise (CAFRE), Enniskillen Campus.
During her visit, the Minister observed a number of equine training sessions being conducted at the excellent practical teaching facilities available at the Campus.
The Minister said:
“CAFRE’s equine provision continues to go from strength to strength at Enniskillen Campus with an excellent interest in courses again this year.
“In recent years we have invested in new equine facilities on this site including a new outdoor arena, schooling gallops, a new breeding yard and young stock facilities. I am encouraged by the continued high level of interest in equine courses, and have enjoyed the opportunity to see for myself first hand the students using the facilities available.”
CAFRE’s Enniskillen Campus provides the widest range of equine programmes available in Ireland with approximately 200 students currently enrolled on Further and Higher Education programmes.
