Adams meets GAME workers
Sinn Féin President Gerry Adams today visited workers who are occupying the GAME store on Dawson Street in Dublin.
Speaking after the meeting Mr Adams said:
“The situation at GAME is another example of workers being left high and dry after giving years of service to a company that has made big profits on the back of their work.
“I commend the workers for taking a stand against this injustice and urge the company to do the right thing and pay the redundancies that they owe.
“The government has a responsibility to introduce effective legislation that protects workers confronting employers who refuse to treat them fairly.” ENDS
